I am back in Chokoloskee after an amazing Tarpon season at the Bahia Honda Bridge in Big Pine Key Florida.
The water is warm right now in Chokoloskee and the Shark are everywhere! I am currently offering "Everglades Shark Charters". We fish for them in the rivers and shallow near shore waters here in the Everglades National Park, FL. We use all very light tackle spinning gear, heavy wire leaders with both live, and natural baits. Here is more info........
Each summer a variety of shark enter the shallow waters of the Ten Thousand Islands to breed, and feed on the abundant bait in the warm shallow waters near Everglades City & Chokoloskee Island. Although we do catch Shark here year round in the 10,000 Islands, they are most abundant when the local water temperatures get up into the high 80's.
