Last 2 weeks of 2011 Provides Fantastic Fishing

Wow, what an end to 2011 it has been! Redfish are still a primary target for us. We are having days where a dozen or two are the norm. The best and most positive thing we have seen are the return of Snook. After the big winter freeze and Snook Kill in January 2010, we are finally seeing some fantastic Snook Fishing. Both large Snook in the 30"-40" range are being caught, along with some little peanuts in the 10"-14" range. This is a positive sign for us to see because it shows the larger breeding size females are coming back to our area, and the presence of the smaller Snook show signs that the larger ones have been spawning. Do not get me wrong, they still are in a fragile state and need time to re-populate back to the quantities that we used to have.
